Flying Books is an indie bookstore and book publisher. Our tables hold rotating collections of choosily chosen new fiction, new nonfiction, local authors, poetry, and literature in translation. The front of the store features a big wall of books from indie presses followed by a wall of books from big presses. We also have books on food, nature, art, music, philosophy, graphic novels, as well as a children’s books section. Our Wall of Fame spotlights books by authors we admire — from ancient to contemporary. We always strive to guide everyone who steps through our door towards a great book.
