Welcome to our Contest for Book Lovers! This initiative encourages readers to buy books on Canadian Independent Bookstore Day in support and celebration of indies. Please read through our steps to enter below. Books must be purchased from a Canadian independent bookstore on Saturday, April 26 to be eligible.
The entry form will available on this page beginning at midnight on April 26 until 11:59pm PT on May 2.

Prizes
This year, CIBA is giving away five gift cards to independent bookstores. Four readers will win $200 each to the CIBA Member Bookstore of their choice and one very lucky winner will win the grand prize of $1,000 to their favourite indie from the list!

No purchase necessary. Contest runs April 26, 2025 at 12:00:00 am AT to May 2, 2025 at 11:59:59 pm PT. Open to residents of Canada who are of the legal age of majority. Five (5) prizes consisting of gift certificates to CIBA Member Bookstores ranging in retail value up to one thousand dollars ($1,000); One (1) winner per prize.
